End-to-end admission and discharge example
Verify room, care, surgery and charge relationships for a synthetic patient.
Platform · VetConnect · Last verified:
Use only an assigned synthetic clinic. Luna and Example Owner A are test records; this gives no treatment/dosage recommendation. Each action needs its own access.
- Open patient identity, owner, clinic connection and activity.
- Start hospitalization with an eligible room/bed. Select admission clinic day, clinician, care team and gross charge/service context.
- Verify active admission, placement and gross daily charge.
- If needed, create the same patient's treatment plan and clinical tasks. Use an explicit offered link; same patient does not automatically link everything.
- Check administration and task completion separately. Dosage differs from sale quantity.
- For surgery, verify patient/time/team/checklist and correctly bound consent.
- Review discharge date, care warnings and final cost. Resolve incomplete care before overriding warnings.
- Open discharge state, bed availability, tasks, report and sale/payment separately.
Expected result
One admission with correct patient/place/team, preserved history and canonical days/cost. Discharge alone neither collects debt nor signs surgery/completes every task.
Failure branch
Correct an existing misplaced admission instead of creating another. Read current records after disconnect. Daily-charge and payment errors need different corrections. Signed records are not ordinary editable drafts.
