Find a product
Use the Products search field in Vetigen Platform.

Starting route: /inventory/products
Required access: The Products page must be available to your role.
- Open Inventory → Products in the Platform menu.
- Enter a name, SKU, barcode, brand, manufacturer, active ingredient, or concentration in the search field.
- If needed, choose All, Approved, or Pending. In All/Approved you can also use In stock only.
- Select a result row to open
/inventory/products/[fp]. Product detail shows stock, pricing, movements, and other linked information.
From global search, the same detail may open in the Product Detail window. Use New product to add a product, and Add Inventory or Add Stock to add stock. These actions depend on your role.
If nothing matches, check the tab and stock filter. Products and inventory screens.
To add the product to a sale, continue on /sales: From product to sale. If stock needs to be added, see add stock from an invoice.
Identify the correct product
Compare manufacturer, ingredient, concentration, pack size and unit for similar names. Catalog price, clinic selling price and purchase cost are different fields. Inspect pack/unit details even after a barcode match.
Search by product name or barcode. If empty, check tabs and remove In-stock only first; lack of stock does not prove a missing catalog product.
