Tasks, reminders and notifications
Assign clinic work, choose recurrence scope and inspect delivery and notification preferences.

A task tracks work, an appointment schedules a meeting, and a reminder represents a communication. Completing a task does not prove medication administration or SMS delivery. Verify clinical actions in their own records.
Create and follow tasks
- Use Add task and enter the work description; there is no separate title field.
- Check assignees. All active staff may be selected initially; retain only the responsible people. Creation priorities are Low / Normal / High.
- In Advanced settings, choose due time and completion policy. Time is optional but recurrence requires it. One-assignee completion and all-assignee completion are different policies.
- Choose at most one related patient, customer, sale, signed examination, appointment or product. Unsigned examinations cannot be selected.
- Add up to five JPEG/PNG/WebP images, each within 10 MiB. Wait for an offered phone-capture flow. Pending upload/handoff is not a completed save.
- After creation, check assignees, date/recurrence, policy, attachments and context link in detail.
Completion, reopening and recurrence
Your assignment checkbox completes your own work. A manager can complete/reopen another person's assignment where allowed; history distinguishes actor and subject. Cancelled tasks cannot use this path. Your checked assignment does not necessarily close the whole task.
On an active task, a manager's Edit changes content, time, priority, assignees, policy, context and attachments. For recurrence, check This occurrence versus This and future occurrences; list quick-assignment affects one occurrence. Cancellation also requires scope/confirmation. For completed tasks, inspect offered assignment-reopening conditions instead of assuming ordinary content editing.
Active lists may group overdue, today, tomorrow, this week, later and undated work. Completed/cancelled lists show close time. Check search, priority and manager scope; a missing context link may be restricted.
At Tasks (/tasks), choose Add task and specify description, assignees, priority and due date. Verify any patient or record link. For recurring work, review interval and scope.
Open the task to inspect summary, progress, assignees, attachments and history. Editing, progress and cancellation depend on access. When editing a recurring task, read which occurrences the dialog affects. A treatment task's status can differ from its actual clinical execution; see treatment.
For example, assign an evening inpatient check to a team member and time. Record the findings in the clinical record; task history tracks work coordination.
Separate reminders and deliveries
Filter Reminders (/reminders) by type, date, status and delivery status. Appointment and vaccine reminders link to their originating records. Eligible approvals or blocks belong to the appointment or vaccine flow.
Delivery logs (/reminders/logs) show channel, result and failure reason. Approval, send attempt and provider delivery are distinct stages. Plan allowances can affect available channels; approval does not guarantee delivery through every channel.
Inspect contact information, channel, date range and error reason. A successful send does not prove the owner read the message. See delivery review.
Notifications and operation history
Open a notification to reach its patient, task or appointment. Marking it read does not complete the underlying record. Check personal notification preferences in settings and device permissions in phone or operating system settings.
Clinic history (/clinic-log) and Operations (/operations) help inspect performed work. Check dates and linked patients/customers. These views do not replace customer collections. See access and notification issues.
