Manage vaccine protocols, programs and catalog
Prepare versioned plans, assign them to patients and verify product mappings.
Platform · Last verified:
Use Vaccines → Protocols / Programs / Catalog. Catalog identifies the vaccine, a protocol defines its steps, and a program combines protocol timing. Assignment is not actual administration.
Protocol and version
- Search existing protocols by system/clinic source, species and state.
- In creation/permitted editing, define name, applicable species and steps. Check each step's vaccine/catalog and timing.
- Review the draft; publish the intended version through an offered action.
- For a used version, inspect the new-version path and historical impact. Existing patient plans do not automatically migrate.
- Distinguish archival from deleting patient administration history.
Create and assign a program
- Define program name/species and protocol components.
- Verify components' published versions and root timing.
- Review and complete eligible publication.
- Use Apply program in patient vaccine overview or the program's assignment entry.
- Preview patient/species, start and generated plans. After approval, inspect dates and program version in the patient's calendar.
Existing plans, history and skipped steps
Read successor preview to identify the scheduled protocol step. Compare old/new chains and dates in replacement; do not turn an administered vaccine into new work. Reconcile external history with the correct actual step. Read reason and remaining-plan impact for offered skip/removal.
Catalog mapping and microchip
Open the catalog record and choose the physical product by barcode/concentration. Mapping does not add stock. Microchip Application is one-off: provide the required chip number in planning/administration/external-history forms rather than scheduling another dose. If an existing patient record is reported, open it instead of bypassing the restriction with a duplicate.
Example: after assigning a program to Luna, inspect successor dates as well as the first day. Verify actual product, stock and date through vaccine administration.
