Sample customer and patient records

Understand sample badges, locked identities and real action outcomes.

A record marked Sample in lists/details is not an ordinary customer's renamed duplicate. A sample patient's state comes from its sample owner; entering random identifiers does not convert a normal patient into a sample.

Differences

  • Sample-customer phone, email and identity fields may be locked. A sample phone is not a real SMS/OTP destination.
  • Sample-patient microchip, passport and tattoo identities are locked.
  • Sample records are separated from external-message delivery; an attempt does not prove delivery to a real person.
  • Permitted clinical records, deletion, sales and stock actions use normal workflows. A sample badge does not turn financial or stock actions into harmless previews.

Practice

  1. Select the assigned synthetic environment and sample records.
  2. Verify patient/owner badges and follow the guide.
  3. Inspect saved examination, task, sale or stock results in that environment.
  4. Correct mistakes through the relevant correction/reversal flow; the badge does not undo them automatically.

Example: recording a stock-deducting administration for sample Luna may create a real stock effect. Do not perform it in a real clinic just for practice. Do not duplicate a customer/patient to bypass locked identities; check record type and access. First use, stock and money.
